I was having a sort through my make-up when I realised that a lot of the products I use on a regular basis are low end beauty items that didn’t necessarily cost me the earth to collect. So I thought that I would share with you a few of my favourite budget beauty items and in the future, I’ll also make a list of my favourite high end beauty products too, just to balance it out.
Since I started earning real money (as opposed to just relying on a student loan to get me by) I began to understood the importance of making your money go further and more importantly, having something to show for it. When you walk into Selfridges with £20 in hand, it’s pretty unlikely that you’re going to walk out with any change, especially not from a beauty counter. But walk into Superdrug or Boots and it’s a whole different story! These products I’m showing you probably cost on average £7 each, a lot of the time it’s even less than that.
The products shown in this picture are:
- MUA Blusher
-Barry M Dazzle Dust
-Maybelline Better Skin Foundation
-NYX Jumbo Pencil
-Avon SuperShock eye pencil
-Maybelline Age Rewind concealer
-Maybelline Colour Tattoo eye base
-Revlon Lip Butter
All of these products can be found at Superdrug or Boots apart from NYX and Avon which have to be bought online or through a catalogue in the UK.
I use these products regularly and they are all things I would repurchase and recommend to others without a doubt. It just proves you don’t need to overspend on high end products when there are good quality products available to us on our door steps.
Let me know which products you think could be added to this list
