As sad as it sounds, I’m happy to see the end of another week as it means we’re getting closer to Spring! I can’t wait for it to be light when I wake up in the morning! It makes getting out of bed so much easier, especially when it’s at 6:30am. The sun was shining for most of the day and then it decided to pour it down for the rest of it which obviously made my hair look amazing.
Today, I wanted to keep it fairly minimal but with a little pop of colour. I apologise for the blueish tinge on these pictures, it still wasn’t totally light outside before I left for work.
I started off going with matte, neutral eye shadows but I just wasn’t satisfied and being the type of person who isn’t afraid to experiment a little bit, I decided to use a gorgeous green eyeliner by Estee Lauder along my top lashline which I haven’t used in ages. On my face I kept it simple, using my Maybelline Better Skin foundation, MAC’s Matte Bronze to bronze my face with some of MUA’s blusher in shade 03 to liven up my face a little bit :).
Tonight, I went for a lovely meal and drinks with my work colleagues as someone I work with has left to take on a new job at a different company. Although we’re happy for him, it is really sad to see him go as everyone likes him so much! Today was also really exciting for me as I reached 100 followers! Yay! It may not seem like a lot but for me, it is a huuuuge milestone and it’s a really exciting thought that people actually like what I write on here. Crazy really!
What have you got planned for the weekend? Let me know in the comments or tweet me at @beasbeautyblog. I’m having a make-up lesson at MAC tomorrow so I’m mega excited about that! I will of course be writing all about it over the weekend.
Thanks for reading!
