Friday’s Face

Happy Friday! This week has finally felt like the start of Spring. It’s getting nice and light in the mornings when I leave for work and it’s not pitch black when I’m on my way home which makes all the difference. My work week has also been nice and busy meaning it goes that little bit quicker and I feel like I’ve got loads done. This Wednesday, I went back to my University for a few hours to take part in the Placement Fair, which I attended with both members of the HR team at work. It was really lovely to be able to speak with students looking for a placement as I understand exactly how they’re feeling and how frustrating it is, going through the whole process. Hopefully, I helped a few people and gave them some useful advice :)

fridays face 8 (1280x853)I kept my make-up today pretty simple with a bit of gel eyeliner, smudged out to look a bit less neat and a pretty shimmery pink colour from the Naked 3 palette on the lid, blended out with wedge from MAC. I also used Nooner from the Naked 3 on my lower lashline.

On my face, I used Bourjois bronzer to warm up the skin with a small amount of Beauty UK highlighter and a wet n wild blush in a deep cool toned pink colour. On my lips, I’ve used a pale pink lipgloss from Lancome which I can’t tell you the actual colour of because it has rubbed off the bottom of the tube!

You probably won’t be able to tell but I also fiiiiinally got my hair done this week. I just had a little off the length and took the colour a bit darker which I actually quite like.

Thanks for reading and have an amazing weekend! What will you be getting up to?

That makeup really brings out your eyes. Lovely.
