Happy Friday! Yay it’s weekend! I feel pretty drained this week as I haven’t been sleeping too good so I’m really looking forward to a lie in! This week has gone pretty quick with lots going on including buying myself a new laptop (my old one was about 6 years old and pretty close to just falling apart) and trying out a couple of new recipes which hopefully I’ll be able to share with you soon. Over the weekend, I celebrated my Granma and Grandad’s 50th wedding anniversary with my family which was lovely. This weekend I am going on a ‘pub crawl’ in Manchester with some of my family so that should definitely be interesting!

For today’s make-up, I was really eager to try a product I received in a Glossybox this week and I have pretty much fell in love with it. I have received so many compliments on this today so it must be a winner!

The predominant colour on my eye is a shimmer powder by the company Bella Pierre in the colour Desire. And it is amazing. It is in a mineral powder form so I decided to first apply it using a bit of Fix+ on a flat brush which gave it a really nice metallic sheen. I bet this would especially look amazing on blue eyes.

This week, I posted a review on the Revlon Highlighting Palettes which wasn’t totally positive. I’ve decided after reading others’ reviews on these that I’m going to persevere with them because they do look so pretty! So I used Rose Glow on my cheek bones today with a cool toned pink blusher from Wet n Wild on my cheeks.

On my lips, I used another product I received in this months’ Glossybox, the Sleek Pout Polish in Raspberry Rhapsody which is also a really lovely product and it feels gorgeous.
