This week has been much of the same as last week with a bit of baking, a bit of blogging and as always, lots of make-up. One thing that did happen this week is my good friend left work to go on an adventure to Australia with her friend, Kate. I will actually miss her so so much but one day soon, she will be starting her very own blog, documenting her oz adventure and I can’t wait to read all about it. To give her a good send off, myself and some colleagues all put together to get her some Australian dollars and I also made her some chocolate cupcakes which you can read the recipe for here.
The other day, I did a post about my top 5 favourite MAC eyeshadows and in that list, it included Woodwinked which made me wish I wore it more often. So of course, I decided to wear it today. Everytime I wear it, I curse myself for forgetting about this gorgeous colour. Woodwinked is a colour I have bought as a gift for many people as I have not yet come across anyone who doesn’t like it. To make this look a little more blown out, I used Saddle and Brown Down which are both by MAC.
Ergh, I actually hate my hair like this. I think it makes me look so young. But my fringe just wasn’t co-operating this morning so up it went! We all have those days…
On my face I have used the last remaining pump of my Rimmel 25 hour Foundation, set with Ben Nye’s banana powder and on my cheeks I have used a new bronzer from Avon which I’m currently trying out with a small amount of Torrid by Nars applied to the apples of my cheeks. On my lips is another new Avon lipgloss called Life Saving Coral. I actually really like this colour and it feels so nice on the lips which is surprising seeing as it was only about £2.50!
Have you got any exciting plans for over the weekend? I plan to spend Mother’s Day at the Trafford Centre with my mum, my granma and my sister and my sister and I are treating them to their tea!
Thanks for reading!

You’re right, Woodwinked is an awesome colour. And I don’t know how you can hate your hair like that, it looks so pretty! :)
